Field Engineering Specialist - Wyoming

About the role

Roche Support Network provides exceptional support to customers, and as a Field Engineering Specialist you will travel and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche-assigned product lines. You will serve laboratory customers in your assigned territory, acting as their technical contact for service-related issues. The role is field-based, with daily travel and up to 60% overnight travel, and the ideal candidate lives in Cheyenne or Casper, Wyoming.

Key responsibilities

• Routine technical support, on-site service, repair and installation of Roche products
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software and system failures
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Document all activities and contribute to quality improvement
• Focus on maximizing customer satisfaction

Required profile

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience
• 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking; alternatively a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience
• Preferred: 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of progressive experience
• Successful completion of training or certification defined by Roche Support Network leadership and policy is mandatory
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel
• Preferred: advanced knowledge of electronics, electromechanical systems, information technology and basic chemistry; ability to act as an internal technical resource, support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships

What we offer

• Salary range of $71,100 to $132,000 depending on experience, qualifications, location and other legal factors
• A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance
