Field Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Field Engineer supports the Construction Management team throughout the project lifecycle, providing on‑site engineering expertise to ensure that construction activities align with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering resources and expertise during the construction phase.
• Plan and recommend civil procedures for field supervision to meet design and specification requirements.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervise craft activities.
• Distribute the latest construction drawings and specifications to superintendents.
• Coordinate field layout, marking utilities and commercial lines before production begins.
• Prepare RFPs for major work packages such as precast, piles, and concrete.
• Manage subcontractor field work, including geotechnical campaigns and health & safety coordination.
• Attend supplier meetings in collaboration with the procurement department.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the project team.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and the ability to adapt to new software.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the initiative to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedules and embrace change in a dynamic environment.
