Field Engineer – CIF (Insulation)

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Field Engineer specialized in CIF (Insulation) to support the Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas. You will apply your engineering expertise to ensure safe, high‑quality field operations and coordinate with subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings and sketches and develop construction methods and procedures.
• Initiate requisitions for field purchases and perform quantity takeoffs for materials and equipment.
• Verify commodities using quantity tracking systems or other database tools.
• Implement and monitor safety and quality‑control standards to achieve a zero‑accident philosophy.
• Conduct technical inspections and testing, and coordinate subcontractor activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field engineering within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality‑control, and technical inspection processes.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
