Family Medicine Physician – Full-Time in Los Angeles

About the role

The Family Medicine Physician will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive health, diagnosis, and treatment. This full‑time, exempt position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and supports clinic operations in Los Angeles County.

Key responsibilities

• Perform history taking and physical examinations for adults and children, including pre‑employment, school, sports, and well‑child screenings.
• Develop individualized care plans, provide health education, and document all patient interactions.
• Review referral and consultant reports, arrange follow‑up, and answer medical queries in the absence of senior staff.
• Supervise physician assistants, nurse practitioners, residents, and medical students.
• Provide backup for nursing and medical directors, handling prescription calls, triaging walk‑ins, and assisting with scheduling when needed.

Required profile

• Current Medical License from the Medical Board of California.
• MD degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Active DEA registration.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty (highly preferred).
• Ability to lead clinic operations and maintain professional, compassionate patient interactions.

Required skills

• Current California Medical License.
• DEA registration certification.
