Fabric Research & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior Fabric Research & Development Manager to lead the creation of innovative, sustainable, and high‑performance fabrics for Beyond Yoga. You will work closely with design, product, and supply‑chain teams to translate market trends into tangible material solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends, new materials, and technological advances to drive fabric innovation.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiated fabrics.
• Lead technical support for business, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and global sourcing strategies.
• Manage feasibility trials, develop SOPs, and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to align fabric development with product specifications and timelines.
• Define performance metrics, protect intellectual property, and report progress to internal partners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in textile or fabric research and development.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable and performance‑focused material solutions.
• Strong understanding of global sourcing, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.
