Exports Consolidation Execution Analyst

About the role

The Exports Consolidation Execution Analyst will join 3M’s global supply chain team, supporting export consolidation centers and ensuring efficient, just‑in‑time material flow from purchase to finished product. This remote position based in California collaborates with colleagues worldwide to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production plans, conduct risk assessments and perform warehouse audits.
• Lead projects that ensure just‑in‑time material flow and support transportation services for plants, divisions, and distribution centers.
• Manage daily consolidation center operations, including load planning, order allocation, booking coordination, and container execution.
• Oversee OSD processing, monitor site‑level costs, enforce spend controls, and maintain yard and pool management activities with drayage partners.
• Maintain data accuracy across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms and support knowledge transfer during third‑party transitions.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on cost‑per‑container reduction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with at least seven years of supply‑chain experience).
• Minimum three years in logistics, warehousing, or supply‑chain operations.
• At least one year of hands‑on experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical analysis of routing and distribution.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience, preferably SAP.
• Transportation Management System (TMS) usage.
• Statistical analysis for routing and distribution optimization.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma continuous‑improvement methodologies.
