Experienced Writer for Luxury Safari Communications

About the role

Micato Safaris is looking for an experienced writer to craft guest‑facing communications that shape every stage of the luxury safari experience. You will translate complex travel information into clear, engaging, and sophisticated language that helps affluent travellers discover, prepare for, and enjoy their journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain safari proposals, itineraries, and guest correspondence.
• Create compelling descriptions of destinations, activities, camps, and lodges.
• Develop planning materials that guide guests in preparing for their safari.
• Produce marketing content such as email campaigns, brochure copy, website text, and travel advisor communications.
• Adapt writing style for diverse audiences, from prospective travellers to industry partners.
• Edit and proofread all materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and tone.
• Collaborate with Safari Specialists and other departments to gather information and improve documentation.

Required profile

• Exceptional writing ability with a sophisticated yet accessible voice.
• 10+ years of professional writing experience for luxury brands.
• Proven track record producing both long‑form storytelling and concise informational content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and informational writing for affluent consumers.
• Highly collaborative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
