Executive Director, Strategy & Growth

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring an Executive Director, Strategy & Growth in Ormond Beach, Florida. The role directs business development strategy, identifies business opportunities and leads strategic planning initiatives that balance financial objectives and priorities, driving business growth and physician alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the execution of strategic initiatives, operationalizing growth and physician alignment strategies and handing them off to operations
• Identify high-priority strategic opportunities, risks, capital projects and potential acquisitions and partnerships
• Ensure each initiative has a complete business plan with market data and a financial pro forma
• Define goals and objectives for service line and hospital growth, leading strategies in business development, physician relations and community engagement
• Develop strategic partnerships and implement physician recruitment and onboarding plans, focusing on in-network provider and service preference
• Oversee physician on-campus onboarding, off-boarding communications, activities and events
• Use data and business intelligence to analyze market and internal dynamics and anticipate new issues and opportunities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (required); Master's preferred; field in marketing, advertising, communications, sports marketing or business
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience (required)
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare or business development (required)
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
• Proven influence management experience with senior leadership

Required skills

• Strategic planning, program and budget management, and project management
• Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry, hospital operations and finances, and federal and state healthcare laws
• Leadership, communication, presentation and people management
