Executive Director – Senior Living

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of a senior living community in New Bern, NC. This leader will foster a positive environment for residents, families, employees, and referral partners while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the community.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and quality standards.
• Manage and monitor budgets to achieve financial objectives.
• Recruit, train, and retain a talented and engaged team.
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and referral sources.
• Foster a culture of respect, service excellence, and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience as an Executive Director in Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Home Care.
• Knowledge of state regulations governing senior living communities.
• Administrator’s license, if required by the state.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
