Executive Director, Communities Talent Management & EdgePoint

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Director to lead and expand two peer‑driven communities for senior talent and HR leaders: the Talent Management Collective (TMC) and EdgePoint. This role is centered on community building, membership growth, and fostering high‑impact connections among C‑suite executives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy, vision, and health of both TMC and EdgePoint.
• Drive membership growth, focusing on senior HR and talent leaders.
• Recruit new members, articulate community value, and welcome executives into EdgePoint.
• Engage existing members, improve experience metrics (e.g., NPS), and promote the communities across social media and industry networks.
• Develop faculty, facilitate sessions, host podcasts, and co‑lead leadership development programs.
• Define and track objectives, milestones, and growth metrics.
• Manage and coach the Community Manager, ensuring operational goals are met.

Required profile

• Proven background in HR, talent management, or organizational effectiveness with credibility among senior people leaders.
• Exceptional relationship‑building ability, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for connecting executives.
• Experience leading community‑focused initiatives or membership‑driven organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary $160,000–$180,000 plus performance bonuses tied to community growth.
• Hybrid work arrangement with limited travel, preferably in the Tri‑State New York City area.

• Collaborative environment reporting directly to the CEO.
