EVS Tech II – Housekeeping (Mid Shift, Full‑Time)

About the role

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an EVS Tech II to provide comprehensive housekeeping services during the mid‑shift (12 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.). You will ensure patient rooms, treatment areas, and public spaces are clean, safe, and ready for care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, offices, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily.
• Collect and remove trash, change bed linens, and sanitize all surfaces.
• Follow isolation and contact‑precaution protocols as required.
• Stock paper items and supplies, maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in good condition.
• Promote workplace safety by using PPE, wet‑floor signs, and proper chemical handling.
• Report equipment repairs, safety hazards, and any schedule issues to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and foster positive relationships with hospital staff.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction efforts.
