ISS Product Integrations Leader

About the role

At Alcon, the ISS Product Integrations Leader drives integration of Alcon products into the Intelligent Service Solutions ecosystem. The role is responsible for connectivity, interoperability, onboarding, launch readiness and technical transfer, acting as the primary interface between product R&D, quality, regulatory, and service organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern ISS connectivity and interoperability requirements, documentation and approval flow.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, IT and franchise teams to translate service needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead product onboarding for AVS devices, managing roadmap, dependencies, risks and readiness status.
• Deliver launch readiness packages including validated requirements, UAT outcomes, service procedures, training content and technical‑transfer materials.
• Coordinate technical transfer and knowledge synchronization with global and regional services and product support engineering.
• Design and lead service dry‑runs, customer scenarios and operational validation for installation, registration, data transfer, remote access and software deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product integration, connected medical devices or related technical service roles.
• Strong ability to lead global, cross‑functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Connectivity, cloud‑to‑device communication, APIs/interfaces, networking and security.
• Data transfer, testing and support workflow design.
• Healthcare interoperability standards: DICOM, HL7, FHIR.
• IoT/edge connectivity, gateways, device agents, authentication, remote access, software updates, machine‑data workflows.
• ISS and AVS ecosystem components: ASC, ACA, ADC, ISCP, Rule Studio, AVS DNA, AVS HUB.
