Senior Manager, Supplier Quality & R&D QA

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Supplier Quality program within the R&D Quality Assurance function. The role ensures global suppliers meet stringent quality and regulatory standards while supporting uninterrupted delivery of high‑quality components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for pre‑market supplier selection, evaluation, and risk minimization.
• Oversee supplier Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate global supplier performance monitoring and report findings to senior leadership.
• Lead supplier audits and regulatory compliance assessments worldwide.
• Mentor supplier quality personnel and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership in a regulated environment, preferably medical‑device industry.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite with up to 10% travel.
