Events Coordinator

About the role

PURPLE is looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of events. Reporting to the Vice President and the Manager of Events, you will collaborate with VIP, PR, and creative teams to deliver memorable experiences for clients across major markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the VP and Event Manager in coordinating projects from brief through concept development to final execution.
• Work closely with VIP and PR teams to align event strategies.
• Plan and execute events according to client scopes, maintaining timelines and production decks.
• Create event briefings, photographer shot lists, and face sheets.
• Research and document new venues, restaurant openings, vendors, and potential sponsors in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
• Maintain a US cultural events calendar.
• Manage invitation lists, distribution, RSVP tracking, and inbox handling using LaunchMetrics.
• Utilize platforms such as Wearisma for event list creation and social tracking.
• Support ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in events, including internships or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of film/TV, fashion, influencer talent, pop culture and current industry trends.
• Ambitious work ethic with a passion for events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $45,000 per year.
