Event Security - Part Time

About the role

Allied Universal's Event Services team is hiring part-time Event Security officers for its Game Day Event Team in Bloomington, Indiana. The work takes place at sports stadiums, concerts, festivals and convention centers, with a flexible schedule of under 30 hours per week suited to students, retirees or anyone wanting a dynamic job. Candidates from surrounding cities are also welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Help prepare for and run each event day.
• Allow appropriate entry into the venue, collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic coming in and out.
• Follow the policies, procedures and regulations of each venue, facility and event.
• Greet guests warmly and give helpful directions or suggestions to improve their experience.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Professional, articulate, with good independent judgment and discretion.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Must pass a background investigation and a post-offer drug/alcohol test; a driver's record check may be required.
