Event Security Parking Attendant

About the role

Allied Universal Event Services, a leader in crowd management and event staffing, is hiring an Event Security Parking Attendant in Bloomington, Indiana. The role supports event day preparation and execution at venues such as sports stadiums, concert venues, festivals and convention centers. It is a part-time position with flexible evening and weekend shifts, suitable for people looking for extra income.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue, collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Greet guests warmly at the entrance, aisle, concourse or other locations and thank them sincerely when the interaction ends.
• Provide helpful directions and suggestions that enhance guests' entertainment experience.
• Maintain a friendly tone and natural speaking voice with guests.

Required profile

• No experience required.
• Age 18 or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Professional, articulate, with good independent judgment and discretion.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
