Evening Direct Patient Care (CNA)

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide evening direct patient care in the Lake Wylie area of Charlotte. The position offers a consistent schedule of Monday‑Friday and every other Saturday, 1 pm‑9 pm, with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care created by a registered nurse to deliver personal care, household support, and companion services.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, and feeding.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and meal preparation.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Perform medication reminders, vital sign checks, and range‑of‑motion exercises.

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience in a caregiving role.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold current CNA certification.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, kindness, and a strong commitment to quality care.
• Ability to travel to assigned client homes in the Charlotte area.

Required skills

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols.
