ETF & Index Equity Analyst (North America)

About the role

The ETF & Index Equity Analyst (North America) will support Portfolio Managers in daily portfolio management of ETF and SMA index‑based products across the US, Canada and Europe. The role focuses on implementation, execution and monitoring to ensure funds accurately track their benchmark indices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in portfolio rebalancing to maintain effective index tracking.
• Monitor funds and indices daily, handling corporate actions, cash management, custom orders and scheduled/unscheduled events.
• Collaborate with senior analysts on issues affecting trading or index tracking.
• Oversee exception reporting to confirm investment objectives are met.
• Support projects related to new product launches, risk reduction, and process/technology improvements.
• Respond to client inquiries from portfolio managers, capital markets and other internal groups.
• Identify and implement improvements in assigned activities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate actions and financial markets.
• Working knowledge of ETF structures and index‑based investment products.
• Ability to use reporting tools and systems for accurate portfolio monitoring.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to take on cross‑functional duties.
