ER Supervisor – Full Time Nights

About the role

The Emergency Room Supervisor provides direct patient care while supervising a team of nurses and technicians during night shifts. This role ensures high-quality, efficient emergency services and supports staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma promptly.
• Organize, plan, and supervise coordinated patient care within the ER unit.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned nurses and patient care technicians.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and supply availability to maintain smooth clinical operations.
• Collaborate with quality, safety, and patient experience leadership to promote best practices.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a BSN (required for Magnet facilities).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• 1 year RN experience or 2 years LPN experience in acute care (preferred 2 years RN experience).
• Ability to work under high pressure, manage interruptions, and remain objective.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
