Equipment Sales Representative

About the role

ASCO Equipment, a family-owned and operated company serving construction equipment customers for over 65 years, is looking for an Equipment Sales Representative in Austin. The role builds strong customer relationships, provides tailored equipment solutions and drives revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go-to resource for customers, solving their needs creatively and following through
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships within your territory
• Represent the ASCO brand professionally and with a customer-first attitude
• Identify sales opportunities proactively through outreach and follow-up
• Educate customers on equipment through product presentations and demos
• Use CRM tools to document and manage sales activities and ensure timely follow-up
• Work with Sales Managers and support teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered
• Stay up to date on equipment and industry trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
• Strong planning, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
• Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Required skills

• Computer literacy and knowledge of general business software
• Knowledge of the G-suite platform
