Equipment Operator II - Coil Tubing

About the role

Lewis Energy Group, a vertically integrated exploration and production company and leading natural gas producer in South Texas, is hiring an Equipment Operator II for coil tubing. The operator supports well site operations by driving, operating and maintaining equipment while keeping safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive equipment to and from various locations.
• Rig up and rig down service units, pressure control equipment, high-pressure iron, cranes and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Comply with company safety procedures.
• Keep fuel and fluid levels within healthy operating thresholds on service units.
• Take part in JSA and other meetings as needed.
• Operate equipment such as fluid pumps, nitrogen pumps, man lifts, forklifts, fueling units, lay-down machines and tongs.
• Discuss operational issues with the supervisor and crew.
• Maintain and keep up designated units and support equipment.
• Monitor, inspect and adjust major equipment during operations, watch load variations on fluid pumps and motor pressure indicators, listen to engines and review material, event and environmental information to spot problems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum of one year of related experience.
• Able to read, write and understand simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
