Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) - Full Time

About the role

The Experience Senior Living Team is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) for its newest community, The Gallery at Fort Collins, which is planned to open in March 2026. The role covers cleaning public areas and resident apartments, laundry and general upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Clean public areas and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios and windows, floors, furniture and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as distributing laundered articles and linens, replacing and hanging draperies, changing beds, cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies.
• Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies; dust furniture and equipment; polish metalwork; wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels and sills.
• Handle laundry: wash, dry and iron resident laundry and community linens in provided appliances, fold or hang them, distribute laundered items, replace draperies and change beds.
• Maintain resident laundry areas by mopping floors and washing walls regularly, and wash windows at reasonable heights as requested.
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly, disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, and stock the cleaning cart.
• Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to the disposal area, and ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean with maintenance.
• Complete maintenance work orders, report resident issues or changes in health or living status, and report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Ability to connect with and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement.
• Arrives on time with minimal absence and tardiness; appearance neat and in line with the dress code.
• Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
• Able to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
