Environmental Services Aide – Fitness Center

About the role

The Environmental Services Aide for the Fitness Center ensures that guest, patient, public, clinical and administrative areas are kept clean and aseptic. This position supports a compassionate, inclusive team dedicated to exceptional care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean and aseptic manner, including environmental closets and equipment.
• Assist with restocking the cafe and bar as needed and support special cleaning projects and room turnover.
• Follow Joint Commission and CMS regulations related to Environment of Care and cleaning requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to read, write and understand verbal communication in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and follow directions.

Required skills

• Experience operating environmental services equipment such as dust mop, wet mop, bucket and wringer, spray bottles, and dustpan.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning supplies and procedures.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals (acidic and alkaline) and handle exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous waste.
