Entry-Level Service Mechanic/Technician – Forklifts & Heavy Machinery

About the role

WMH Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic entry‑level Service Mechanic/Technician to join its Charlotte service team. You will gain hands‑on experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of material‑handling equipment while supporting customers in diverse work environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling machinery.
• Learn and apply diagnostic techniques under the guidance of experienced technicians, covering mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Provide courteous customer service by communicating equipment status and needs.
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor hours in compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace for yourself, colleagues, and clients.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50+ lb and stand for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Foundational mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with hand tools.
• Basic use of diagnostic equipment.
