Key responsibilities

• Retrieve the right medication from inventory
• Enter customer and prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department
• Stock prescription medication
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers
• Prioritize workload and maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy
• Maintain patient information confidentiality

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or meets state requirements
• Retail or community practice experience
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
• Neat, legible handwriting and professional appearance
• Organizational, prioritizing and teamwork skills
• Attendance
