Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

About the role

As an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician you will be the hands‑on hero who keeps our facilities safe, comfortable and efficient. You will work on a variety of building systems, from lighting and plumbing to HVAC, while learning from experienced technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance on lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to basic repair requests such as changing filters, replacing bulbs, and tightening fixtures.
• Support senior technicians on larger projects, including equipment installations and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and update work orders in the digital tracking system.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists for building equipment and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Perform outside custodial duties as needed and keep the work environment clean and safe.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of maintenance experience preferred, but no prior experience required.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of power tools.
• Fundamental HVAC preventive‑maintenance concepts.
• Use of digital work‑order/maintenance tracking systems.
