Entry-Level Engineer

About the role

Avion Solutions Inc. is looking for an entry‑level engineer to join the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) DTGX Ground Test Truth team in Huntsville, AL. The role supports product generation, pre‑mission analysis, and post‑mission data analysis for ground test events, working with a mix of existing tools and new process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and deliver test products, perform pre‑mission analysis, and conduct post‑mission data analysis for MDA ground test events.
• Utilize existing MATLAB, Python scripts, SQL queries, and internal applications to process large test execution datasets.
• Document and brief analysis results for each supported ground test event.
• Identify and implement updates or optimizations to tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong deadline management and coordination skills.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
