Enterprise Account Executive - Colorado

About the role

SailPoint, a leader in identity security, is hiring an Account Executive to sell its Identity Security solution. The role is remote and based in Colorado, and the account executive works as part of a virtual team covering partner resources, presales, partner manager, deal desk, professional services, BVA and customer success. Business travel of about 50% per year is expected.

Key responsibilities

• Exceed quarterly and yearly revenue quota goals.
• Qualify opportunities, run discovery calls and present SailPoint's value compared with Microsoft, Okta and Saviynt.
• Own the full sales cycle: qualifying, presentations, demos, RFP responses, negotiations and closing.
• Develop territory and account plans, and work with marketing and channel partners on go-to-market plans.
• Pursue leads, keep Salesforce clean, forecast accurately and use channel management tools.
• Lead technical resources in demos, follow up with customers and partner with the post-sale team on account coverage.

Required profile

• A skilled communicator who can qualify prospects and position SailPoint against competitors.
• Ability to lead a virtual team, take initiative and make people accountable.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business or sales-related field.

What we offer

• Estimated base salary for US-based employees of $111,200 - $168,381, depending on location and experience.
