About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a motivated Fall 2026 English Cafe Intern to support its Immigrant Youth team in Miami-Dade. This unpaid position will help design and lead an online English Café where youth and adults can practice conversational English while building confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and lead weekly online English Café sessions for youth and adults.
- Prepare topics, materials, and talking points for each session.
- Assist in creating promotional campaigns to attract participants.
- Coordinate outreach to local organizations to establish community partnerships.
- Collect and track attendance data for program evaluation.
Required profile
- Passionate about language education and helping immigrant communities.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Interest in international humanitarian issues.
Required skills
- Computer literacy (basic PC skills).
