Engineering Manager – RC Capital

About the role

RevenueCat is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the RC Capital team, a brand‑new business line focused on early payouts, underwriting, risk monitoring, and related financial infrastructure. You will shape the technical direction while working closely with product, design, and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a distributed engineering team, handling hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and address technical debt.
• Establish transparent processes for iterative development and predictable delivery.
• Mentor engineers, foster career growth, and promote an inclusive team culture.
• Drive technical discussions, guide optimal solutions, and champion system improvements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and deliver prioritized roadmaps.
• Hands‑on approach: code reviews, bug investigation, and SQL data analysis.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with a focus on quality and reliability.
