Engineer II – Collaboration Solutions

About the role

The Engineer II will work closely with consultants to implement and support collaboration solutions for small‑ and medium‑size clients. This role involves hands‑on installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software in client network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist consultants in deploying, integrating and optimizing collaboration products based on design specifications.
• Implement migration, risk mitigation, test and disaster‑recovery plans under consultant guidance.
• Provide Tier 1 support for network and collaboration infrastructures and act as technical lead for SMB clients.
• Maintain project documentation, audit records and communicate status to internal and external project managers.
• Participate in project kick‑off meetings, design discussions and ensure solutions meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related field experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on technology experience or equivalent education.
• Entry‑level certifications completed; working toward CCNA‑Collaboration or comparable knowledge.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of collaboration products and ability to configure/install them.
• Understanding of routing and switching concepts.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and network design theory.
• System‑level troubleshooting skills.
