Endoscopy Sales Representative - Philadelphia Downtown

About the role

Stryker's Endoscopy Division is hiring a field-based Sales Representative for the Philadelphia downtown area. The role promotes and sells Stryker endoscopy products to doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff, educating them on proper use and maintenance and directing product evaluations in the operating room and office. The position involves occasional travel and driving.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Endoscopy products within approved indications for use.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
• Direct product evaluations in OR and office settings.
• Assist in preparing and running trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings.
• Keep the regional manager informed regularly about territory progress.
• Solve product problems for customers quickly.
• May assist in training and developing sales personnel.

Required profile

• 2-5 years in an outside sales position (medical-related experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree, or five years of commercial sales or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• Able to negotiate price and terms with customers, and to explain and solve product issues.
• Ability to analyze market potential from call patterns, communicate with large groups and travel up to 20% overnight per year.
• Must be able to drive an automobile.
