Field Specialist - RYOBI Experience Team (Remote, PA/NY)

About the role

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, is hiring a Field Specialist for its RYOBI Experience Team. The role provides support for TTI brand riding mower programs by engaging customers and service centers in the field to expand the program. It covers a large territory, works closely with the engagement center in Anderson, S.C., and is listed as remote.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a large territory for riding mower customer support
• Diagnose and repair TTI riding mowers in the field, including visiting customer residences
• Visit service centers when needed for repair assistance
• Recruit and train new service centers, and train existing ones on current and new riding mowers
• Act as a subject matter expert on riding mower programs
• Provide phone support for customers and service centers when needed
• Keep communication channels open with all TTI parties and provide performance reports when requested
• Work with engineering and project management on issues identified
• Keep the company-provided work vehicle and tools organized and clean

Required profile

• Extensive travel within the territory and some overnight stays
• Mechanically inclined; specific rider repair training will be provided
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Prior presenting and/or training experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to satisfy consumers and end-users with little guidance or management intervention
• Empathy and the ability to relate to customers
