Endocrinology Physician (BC/BE)

About the role

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking BC/BE Endocrinologists with an interest in treating patients with pituitary disease, endocrine malignancies, and endocrine complications related to cancer or cancer therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a dedicated subspecialty multidisciplinary team alongside eight Endocrinologists and eight Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• Engage in clinical practice opportunities such as serving as an investigator on clinic trials, performing US‑guided thyroid FNAs, and interpreting CGMS, thyroid ultrasound, and bone density studies.
• Mentor four endocrinology fellows as well as internal medicine residents and medical students during rotations.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible Endocrinologist (BC/BE).
• Demonstrated interest and experience in managing pituitary disease, endocrine malignancies, or endocrine complications of cancer therapy.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (J‑1 visa candidates not accepted).

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
• Experience performing US‑guided thyroid fine‑needle aspirations.
• Ability to interpret CGMS data, thyroid ultrasound, and bone density measurements.
