About the role

Join the Emergency Department at Indian River Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic Health System facility in Vero Beach, Florida. This full‑time evening position (7:00 PM – 3:30 AM) provides direct nursing care to patients 24/7 in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and perform treatments according to physician and nursing orders.
Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans, document patient conditions, and coordinate discharge needs.
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and health maintenance.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure in Florida.
Minimum one year of acute care or Emergency Department experience (military RN experience considered).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within one year of hire.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (upon hire or within 24 months).
