Embedded Firmware Engineer – USB‑C Power Delivery

About the role

We are developing new hardware based on USB‑C Power Delivery controllers and need an embedded firmware engineer to bring boards from bare PCB to production‑quality firmware. You will work closely with the hardware team, writing and debugging firmware on 32‑bit ARM microcontrollers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate power, clocks and bring up new PCBs, connect debuggers and enable peripherals.
• Develop and debug embedded C firmware on ARM Cortex‑M MCUs.
• Configure and drive companion ICs over I2C, SPI or UART.
• Implement and debug USB‑C/USB‑PD behavior, including power negotiation and fault handling.
• Perform bench debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters and SWD/JTAG.
• Document configurations and design decisions and collaborate with hardware engineers to isolate issues.

Required profile

• Strong embedded C experience on 32‑bit MCUs (ARM Cortex‑M or similar).
• Working understanding of USB‑C/USB‑PD specifications and roles.
