Elementary Teacher (Grades 3 & 5) – 2026-2027 School Year

About the role

The school district is seeking certified elementary teachers for Grade 3 and Grade 5 positions for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role involves delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lessons using a variety of instructional strategies aligned with formative assessment data.
• Conduct individual, small‑group, and whole‑class instruction, adapting methods to meet diverse learning needs, including special‑needs students.
• Provide timely feedback to students, parents, and administrators on academic and social‑emotional development.
• Make referrals to guidance counselors, Student Assistance Program, MTSS, and special education as needed.
• Collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, and families to improve overall student learning.

Required profile

• Valid, active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate for Elementary K‑6 (or appropriate add‑on for Grade 5).
• One to three years of elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and contribute effectively to a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G‑Suite.
• Experience using student information systems.
