About the role

This full‑time position is for a certified elementary teacher at Foley Elementary School for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering a safe, engaging learning environment for pre‑K to 3rd‑grade students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Create lesson plans and instructional materials that maximize instructional time.
• Assess student progress continuously and adapt instruction to meet individual needs, including special requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and reporting per district procedures.
• Foster parental involvement and maintain clear communication with families.
• Supervise students during non‑classroom activities, including transportation.
• Administer standardized tests according to district protocols.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and collaborative curriculum evaluation.

Required profile

• Current Minnesota teaching license in elementary education.
• Willingness to be trained in Structured Literacy.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
