Electrical Systems Instructor

About the role

The Electrical Systems Instructor provides classroom, lab, and online instruction for the Electrical Systems Technology Diploma and Certificate programs at the Clarkesville Campus. The role prepares students for entry‑level positions in inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using appropriate teaching techniques and follow approved course syllabi.
• Develop and administer tests, grade assignments, maintain grade books and required records.
• Evaluate student progress, complete reports, and maintain accurate inventory of instructional equipment.
• Teach traditional day/evening classes or online courses in a classroom/lab environment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Systems Technology or a related field.
• Current unrestricted licensed electrical construction for the State of Georgia or industry certification in the discipline.
• Relevant work experience in electrical systems.
• Ability to distinguish colors for electrical wiring tasks.
