ELDS MV Assembly Trainer (2nd Shift)

About the role

ABB's Distribution Solutions Division is hiring an ELDS MV Assembly Trainer for the 2nd shift, reporting to the Technical Training Manager. The role is onsite in Mebane, NC and focuses on supporting production start-ups and the preparation of technical documentation for new processes and products.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in defining sequences, calculating cycle times and analysing the working phases of new production processes and products.
• Share cycle time data with internal teams and prepare technical documentation on process phases, methods and cycle times.
• Support production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
• Ensure updated process and technical documentation is given to Supply Chain Management teams so suppliers can be evaluated and agreements properly agreed.
• Help define action plans, train Maintenance and Production teams and support other activities during internal and external process and equipment start-ups.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to safely use a ladder and to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
