District Manager

About the role

The District Manager will lead a group of Sally Beauty retail stores in the Charlotte area. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and developing store leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Visit stores regularly to coach and mentor store managers.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and create action plans to improve sales and profitability.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and loss‑prevention initiatives.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of store teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and customer service expectations.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to roll out new initiatives and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities, including coaching and conflict resolution.
• Strong retail operations background covering merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Proven track record in sales and business management with KPI analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Organizational and time‑management capability to handle multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel within the district and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
