Distribution Associates – Various Roles

About the role

US LBM is expanding its Missouri footprint and is hiring for a range of distribution positions, from drivers to warehouse associates. Candidates will join a national leader in building‑materials supply and contribute to safe, efficient delivery and inventory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist inventory control by counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate foot‑ and hand‑controlled forklifts, including truck‑mounted units, to load, unload, and transport lumber and building products.
• Perform deliveries to construction sites, completed builds, and city locations; some roles require inter‑state travel.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections to ensure vehicle compliance.
• Provide professional customer service, representing US LBM positively on‑site.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license; Class A or B CDL may be required for certain positions.
• Clean driving record and basic CDL experience for flat‑bed or tractor‑trailer operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (foot‑ and hand‑controlled, truck‑mounted).
• Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) where applicable.
• DOT vehicle inspection procedures.
