Distribution Associate 1

About the role

The Distribution Associate 1 works in CooperVision's West Henrietta distribution center, handling order picking, packing, and carrier sorting. This full‑time, onsite position supports the timely shipment of contact lens products to customers, distributors, and contract partners.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders using carousel, automatic dispense machines, pick‑to‑light, voice picking, and RF scanner list picking.
• Pack small orders, multi‑tote shipments, and process advanced shipment notices.
• Resolve order problems and operate carrier sorter equipment.
• Utilize material‑handling equipment such as forklifts, man‑up lifts, and fork trucks.
• Navigate Baan ERP, Kewill, and Red Prairie WMS for order lookup and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and equipment standards; report issues promptly.
• Work scheduled holidays and occasional mandatory Saturdays to meet service levels.

Required profile

• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable attendance and ability to start scheduled shifts on time.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Commitment to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Forklift license and man‑up lift certification.
• Experience with Kewill, BAAN, and Red Prairie warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping software.
• Use of RF scanners, voice headsets, and shrink sealers.
