Displays Software Engineer (C/C++)

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing technology for aviation. As a Displays Software Engineer you will join the remote piloting software team to create pilot‑facing applications that command advanced automation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build real‑time user interface applications for controlling automated aircraft, ranging from embedded aviation‑grade hardware to browser‑based tools.
• Own the full lifecycle of these applications, collaborating with engineers, designers, systems engineers, and pilots to ensure safety, user‑centered design, and certification readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing user‑facing software for high‑performance or mission‑critical applications.
• 5+ years professional experience in C or C++.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming.
• Experience with DO‑178C (preferred).
• Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking.
• Proficiency in core browser technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience developing user‑facing software from graphical specifications.
