About the role

The Dispatch Specialist supports the Transportation Department by coordinating with customers, suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Schedule appointments via phone, email, or web platforms.
• Communicate driver schedules and work assignments.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and manage a hectic workload.
• Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Strong mathematical, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience working both independently and in a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
