Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging and other supplies for our food production. The role is hybrid, based in our New York City office, and focuses on cost‑effective, high‑quality procurement aligned with sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers that meet quality, quantity and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Analyze procurement costs and trends to uncover savings opportunities and report recommendations to management.
• Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Collaborate with production planning, inventory, quality assurance and legal teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• Minimum three years of proven procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in food manufacturing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and e‑procurement platforms.
• Experience using data‑analytics software for cost analysis.
