Director Perioperative Services

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people. As Director of Perioperative Services you will lead a compassionate, inclusive team to ensure the highest standards of nursing care, safety, and performance improvement across the perioperative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements processes that ensure patient and employee safety.
• Drives continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance business operations.
• Monitors nursing practice to ensure safe, compliant care and oversees clinical and quality indicators.
• Determines staffing levels, conducts hiring, interviews, and performance reviews.
• Collaborates with providers, nursing, and management to address training needs for new and existing services.
• Manages monthly financial statements, identifies expense trends, and makes recommendations.
• Prepares and reviews preliminary capital and human‑resources budgets.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, nursing or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: certification in a clinical specialty area.
