Director of Talent Acquisition

About the role

Airrack, a fast-growing YouTube channel known for high-energy stunts and viral challenges, is looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition based in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will own full-cycle recruiting for roles across content, production and business operations, working directly with department leads to find people who thrive in fast-moving, high-creativity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across production, creative and operational roles, partnering with hiring managers to define what great looks like for each role.
• Run tight, efficient processes without sacrificing quality, and close candidates by selling the mission, culture and opportunity.
• Sourcing beyond job boards: build pipelines for hybrid roles and stay plugged into creator culture, production communities and internet trends.
• Support hiring coordinators with honest, useful feedback and help the team make fast, confident decisions.
• Improve hiring as the company grows, using data and good judgment to raise the bar with every hire.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in media, entertainment or a fast-moving startup.
• Track record of finding and closing strong candidates for creative and operational roles.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a strong read on talent, culture fit and potential.
• Clear communicator, strong closer and genuine team player; you actually watch YouTube and understand the creator economy.
