Director of Recruiting – One Church Team

About the role

The Recruiting Director leads Pinelake’s staffing strategy, partnering with hiring managers and church leadership to attract, assess, and place talent across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Operations and ministry leads to craft job descriptions and specifications.
• Develop and manage the candidate pipeline using databases, online forums, social media, and the Breezy recruiting platform.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle—from posting and attraction to vetting, recommendation, and hand‑off to Recruiting Coordinators.
• Maintain recruiting budget, track open positions, and promote Pinelake as an attractive employer.
• Supervise Recruiting Coordinators and an administrative assistant.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of recruiting experience and 8‑10 years in multisite church ministry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 25 lb and moderate noise environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Breezy recruiting platform.
• Competent use of Windows and macOS operating systems, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Basic budgeting and financial tracking abilities.
