Director of Quality – Multi‑Division Organization

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Quality to lead the quality strategy and execution across three diverse divisions of our family‑owned, multi‑division organization. This senior position partners closely with senior leadership to embed quality into every aspect of the business and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a unified quality strategy aligned with long‑term growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow quality teams across all three divisions.
• Drive supplier development initiatives and improve supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Manage internal and external corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data‑driven methodologies to strengthen quality systems.
• Standardize processes, metrics, and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and executive teams to embed a culture of accountability and customer‑focused excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality roles, preferably in metal manufacturing.
• 5+ years of management experience leading teams and driving organizational change.
• Proven success managing multi‑site or multi‑division quality programs.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, continuous‑improvement tools, and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborative leadership style grounded in respect, transparency, and trust.
